The Sign Maker's Paint Room
Expert Spraying for a Professional Finish
The Sign Maker uses its spray painting room mainly for the painted wooden signs. However, there are also specialist metal paints which are used on all the Wrought Iron Work.
If required, you can have your sandblasted items with a coat of primer followed by a top coat of durable metal paint in the paint shop. If you prefer items can just be primed to stop oxidation ready for you to paint at a later date.
Stock Colours are - Black, White, Farrow & Ball Lichen (light green), Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone (light grey), Moss Green, Slate Grey, and Ultramarine Blue. Custom colours can be ordered on request and will incur a minimum paint charge of £60
Standard paint use is charged at £20 per lire. Painting is billed at £50 per hour.
Based on our experience, painting four aluminium chairs takes approximately an hour and uses around one litre of paint. This means it costs about £70 in total, or £17.50 per chair per coat. (+VAT)
NB - Cast iron chairs take longer to paint as they are too heavy to hang.
