Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Tru Grit to you, the customer. By commissioning our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services Offered
We offer:

Mobile on-site sandblasting of plant, machinery, structures, etc.

Drop-off sandblasting of items delivered to our premises (e.g. stonework, fireplaces, metal items).
All services are subject to an initial inspection and risk assessment.
3. Quotations and Payment

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Prices quoted exclude VAT unless specified.
-
A deposit may be required before work begins.
-
Full payment is due within 7 days of invoice unless agreed otherwise.
4. Customer Responsibilities

For on-site work, you must:

Provide safe and adequate access.

Ensure the site is clear of unnecessary personnel.

Confirm access to water, electricity, and facilities if required.

Inform us of any sensitive materials, coatings, or structural concerns.

For drop-off work, you must:
-
Deliver and collect items unless otherwise agreed.

Clearly label or describe any fragile, valuable, or unusual items.

5. Health and Safety

We comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.

You agree to comply with all safety instructions provided by us during on-site operations.

We reserve the right to halt work if we deem conditions unsafe.
6. Damage and Liability

While we take reasonable care, sandblasting is an abrasive process that may expose flaws or weaknesses in materials.

We accept no liability for:
-
Pre-existing damage.
-
Damage resulting from undisclosed material weaknesses.
-
Loss of value to antiques or historically significant items unless previously assessed.

You are advised to remove or protect sensitive areas, surfaces, or surrounding property.
7. Delays and Cancellations

We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather, site conditions, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, we may charge a cancellation fee to cover preparation and travel costs.
8. Insurance
-
We maintain public liability and employer’s liability insurance.
-
You are advised to ensure your own insurance covers your property and items.
9. Complaints
Any concerns must be raised within 5 working days of job completion. We aim to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
